I am a Spring Lake, Michigan native who has moved to Minneapolis in retirement to enjoy the beautiful environment, cultural diversity and the active arts community.
I achieved a BFA in 2000 and an MFA in 2005 from Kendall College of Arts and Design in Grand Rapids, MI with a major in oil painting, minor in Art History. I enjoyed teaching Design, Drawing and Color at Kendall and Grand Rapids Community College for 10 years .
During that time and now I have continued to be a studio artist, doing commissions and showing work at competitions, solo shows and galleries.
